PATRICK DOHERTY REVIEW IN THE WEST AUSTRALIAN

Venn Gallery’s current exhibition by Australian artist Patrick Doherty, Confessions to god, but not mine, was reviewed in The West Australian on Saturday 22 March 2014.

Local arts writer and academic Laetitia Wilson provided some great insight into the exhibition and even described Doherty’s latest series of paintings as “worth owning not only from an investment point of view but because you could spend a lot of time with them, staring into them and wondering about their various possible stories and meanings”.

Confessions to god, but not mine is on for one more week – closing next Friday 4 April 2014 – and several of the artworks on board and canvas are still available to acquire.

The opening of the artist’s second major solo show at Venn Gallery also marked the launch of Venn Gallery’s 2014 program. Check out some of the coverage of the opening night celebrations by STM Magazine, here, and by Cicely Binford from Perth Culture, here.
