RHYS LEE EXHIBITION AT ARTHOUSE GALLERY IN SYDNEY

Leading Australian artist Rhys Lee, who last year showed at Venn Gallery with Cracked Pots, is currently exhibiting a new body of work at Arthouse Gallery in Sydney.

Running for one more week, Long Knives sees the highly collectable artist offer audiences a series of new paintings and ceramic sculptural ‘busts’ that are consistent with his approach to portraiture. The Melbourne-based artist’s unique otherworldly aesthetic hovers
in a liminal space between the grotesque and the seductive; the haunting and the ethereal.
