The exhibition titled, Apate, is curated by Dale Buckley and also features works by Casey Ayres, Celene Bridge, Dale Buckley, Dan McCabe, Elizabeth Marpole and Ben Rodin. Apate is an exhibition of textile-based sculpture by seven emerging Perth-based visual artists, masquerading as the launch of an avant-garde fashion label.

For the duration of September, the gallery at Moana Project Space will be rebranded as a high fashion concept pop-up store, displaying limited edition garments and artworks uneasily inhabiting a retail context. Each of the seven artists in Apate have tailored their diverse practices to realise innovative handmade garments and accessories – or wearable artworks – exclusively for the project.
Further details about the exhibition are available here.

Apate is presented as part of the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival
