TANE ANDREWS IN EXHIBITION AT HEATHCOTE GALLERY AND MUSUEM

A new exhibition by artists Tané Andrews and Moira De La Hunty, time bids be gone, opened at the historical Heathcote Museum & Gallery in Applecross yesterday evening. The exhibition investigates time, and particularly the space between transition and stillness. It was officially opened by Curator, Arts Writer and Public Arts Coordinator, The City of Perth, Paola Anselmi, who also wrote the catalogue essay for the show.

Venn Gallery represented artist Tané Andrews produced a new body of work that continues his longstanding fascination with the fragility of time. The exhibition includes meticulous new drawings, paper and kinetic sculptural work. The artist has introduced crystal formations and real-life hatchling butterflies amid his celebrated techniques of stippling and laser cutting.
